At Aunt Harriet’s Bed ‘N Biscuit we pride ourselves on having an environment that is immaculate, sanitary, healthy and safe. The following requirements are mandatory for all guests and are intended for everyone’s protection.
- Pre-reservation visit
- All dogs six months of age and older must be either spayed or neutered
- All vaccinations must be current and proof must be shown prior to check-in:
- Rabies
- DA2PP
- Bordetella
We also accept titers in lieu of vaccinations. If your veterinarian recommends that your dog not be vaccinated, please call us to discuss your pet’s special needs.
- Dogs must be on flea treatment such as Frontline, Advantage or Revolution. As with vaccinations requirements above, if your veterinarian recommends that your pet not be on flea treatment please call us to discuss your pet’s special needs. Flea treatment must have been applied at least 48 hours prior to arrival. All dogs are checked for fleas upon arrival. If necessary, dogs are bathed and dipped. Bathing charges are based upon size and type of coat.
We do not accept a reservation for any dog without a pre-reservation visit. This is for many reasons. First of all, you need to see our facility and meet us and our dogs to decide if we are the right fit for you and your dog. Secondly, we need to meet you and your dog to make sure that we can work with you and to evaluate your dog to make sure this environment is the right fit.
Since this is true in-home care we do not accept males who mark in the house. We also absolutely cannot accept any dog that shows any sign of aggression. If, after meeting us, you want to make a reservation we will most likely suggest that you leave your pet for a visit of one or two hours. This gives your pet the opportunity to get to know us and our dogs as well as any boarding clients here at the time.
Most importantly, when you return and pick up your dog, your pet knows that he/she was not abandoned! For older dogs that have never been boarded you may wish to schedule a daycare and/or overnight visit prior to your pet’s stay. This ensures that your pet is familiar with us and will not be traumatized when left for a longer time. It also allows you to feel more confident when leaving your pet behind for the first time.
Rates
$25 per day for the first dog. We have no hidden costs. Frequent playtime and medication administration is included in the daily rate.
$22 per day for each additional dog from the same family;
$2 per day for food if you don’t bring your pet’s food;
Dogs picked up by noon do not incur an additional charge for the day of pick-up;
$15 charge for each pick-up or drop-off outside of normal business hours.
All new clients must provide a non-refundable two day deposit at the time the reservation is made.
Reservations for major holidays (New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) require a two day non-refundable deposit from all clients at the time the reservation is made. Some holidays may require a minimum stay. Please check with us.

Daily 9 am – Noon and 4 pm – 6 pm.
Sunday: 4 pm – 6 pm.
HOURS ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED
Wednesday: Complimentary Separation Anxiety School (SAS) is held on Wednesday afternoons for those pets who need a little extra TLC to transition away from Mom and Dad. Please call for details.
The “quiet time” between noon and 4pm is for our guests to have their afternoon snacks and naps. This is crucial for happy dogs; No pre-reservation visits will be scheduled during this time.
