About the Bed 'N Biscuit...

Aunt Harriet’s Bed ‘N Biscuit is located on a beautiful six acre parcel outside of Sequim and is easily accessible from either Sequim or Port Angeles. If you are going to Victoria for the day or for a longer stay we are on your way! We are also easily accessible for those people heading to either Port Angeles or SeaTac for a flight out of town.

When we decided to open a boarding facility we knew that we wanted to offer something that we could not find when boarding our own dogs in California. We wanted to change the definition of what boarding was to so many pet owners; we wanted to offer a service that would be exactly what we would want for our own pets! We are proud to know that our clients consider this their special pet’s “home away from home.” Our clients are so excited when their owners turn into our driveway that they frequently start barking and cannot wait to get out of the car and jump into Aunt Harriet’s arms! This is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.

While staying at Aunt Harriet’s, your best friend has many options of how to spend his or her days. Your pet can lounge on the couch in the living room snoozing or watching the big screen television or he/she can take a nap on the loveseat in the sunroom. He or she can also choose to take a nap on one of the hammock style beds on the huge covered trex deck or may decide to watch the ducks on the pond or bark ferociously at the horses and cows in the adjacent pastures. If those activities don’t appeal to your best friend, Aunt Harriet will work with him or her on the agility equipment set up in the large yard. It is specially sized for small dogs and gives them a wonderful start for the “real” thing!

Most importantly, there are no kennel runs on this property. There is no separate building where your pet is isolated from us and left alone. There are crates for those pets whose owners want them crated at night. There are also two “puppy pens” for our senior clients who want quiet and their own space away from the younger crowd. These are also sometimes used when two guests from the same family are staying and their owners want them to sleep together but not in a crate. Some owners bring their pet’s crates with them and that is fine also. We recommend that you bring an item of your clothing such as a t-shirt that has not been washed. Placing this in their crate often provides security and a sense of home for your pet.
